The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued an urgent recall for a popular brand of frozen dessert due to “plastic-like and gravel-like fragments.”

So Delicious Dairy Free Recall in Canada
The recall involves So Delicious Dairy Free brand Salted Caramel Non-dairy Frozen Dessert, Cashew Base.
According to the notice, the recall is due to the aforementioned “plastic-like and gravel-like fragments.” The CFIA has not listed if the product has been associated with any reports of incident or injury. But as a Class II recall, “there is a moderate risk that consuming the food may lead to short-term or non-life threatening health problems.”
Consumers are asked to “not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product.”
