The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a recall for a popular brand of mayonnaise sold across Canada due to allergen concerns.

Mayonnaise Recall in Canada
The recall involves Heinz brand Real Mayonnaise single serve units, meant specifically for hotels, restaurants, and institutions.
The affected products were reportedly distributed across Canada in the following provinces: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, and Saskatchewan.
“Heinz brand Real Mayonnaise single serve units [are being] recalled due to undeclared mustard,” explains the notice.
As a Class III recall, “there is a low risk that consuming the food may result in any undesirable health problems. This class also includes food that do not pose a health risk, but that do not comply with legislation.”
