New Photos Released In Maple Batalia Shooting

New surveillance photos connected to the shooting of Maple Batalia, have been released by homicide investigators.

In September, Batalia was killed after being gunned down at Simon Fraser University’s Surrey campus.

Shortly after the shooting, police released university surveillance video of a white Dodge Charger leaving the area. In December, The vehicle was seized, however police have not released the name of the person who owned the vehicle.

The university has now distributed an email to students and staff with new surveillance photos, hoping to identify people in the area at the time.

Police are asking the people in the photos, or anyone who recognizes them, to contact the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team.
