cowdog truly needs no introduction after the splash they made with their very popular no-tipping policy. They’re known for paying their employees a living wage while serving up some amazing café creations, including matcha.
You can be sure you’ll be sipping on high-quality matcha when you go to cowdog. Be sure to try their frozen matcha to stay cool in the Vancouver heat– and definitely have a go at their strawberry matcha, which is a perfect blend of flavours.

cowdog recently opened their second location in Kitsilano on 1927 W 4th Avenue. Their original location is on 3720 Oak Street in Vancouver.
Hanoi Drip

Vietnam is the birthplace of a lot of amazing drinks, and Hanoi Drip specializes in the country’s delightfully strong Vietnamese coffee. Part of their menu is also dedicated to imported tea, so if coffee’s not your thing, they’ve got some matcha just for you.
You can’t go wrong with one of Hanoi Drip’s delicious strawberry matchas, which is creamy, fruity, and sweet. You can also give their matcha latte a try, which is made of ceremonial grade matcha from Kyoto.

Paragon Tea Room

Paragon Tea Room is well-known in Richmond to be one of the best spots if you want to try matcha. They serve up ceremonial grade matcha with that creamy, earthy taste that people love and create drinks for all palettes.
Their matcha lattes come with plant-based milk, and their Paragon Lab menu allows you to try their iced matcha coconut refresher, so everything is smooth and sweet. If you get the chance, you should also try out their matcha black sesame oat latte– a fantastic combination of flavours that complement each other perfectly.

Paragon Tea Room is located on 4328 Number 3 Road in Richmond. Their Vancouver location was closed earlier this year due to redevelopment plans, but they will be reportedly moving elsewhere in the same city.
Superbolt

Superbolt is all about elevating your tea. From the traditional to their own proprietary tea blends, their products will help you feel good and focus on yourself while boosting your energy. Everything’s organic and high-quality– Superbolt is super dedicated to making sure that their customers get only the best.
Their matcha is curated from a family-run farm in Shizuoka, Japan, so you can expect their tea to be of superb quality. Keep your eyes peeled if you want to try Mitchie Matcha because they’re a pop–up vendor! You can find them at various events across the city serving their yummy matcha creations. If you’re looking for something fun to do while you sip on your drink, then Mitchie Matcha is going to be your place to visit!
Mitchie Matcha has all the classic matcha drinks on their menu, as well as some summer specials such as their mango matcha latte and blueberry matcha latte. You can find all their upcoming pop up locations on their website, with a number of them happening all throughout summer.

Matcha Corner

Previously a pop-up, now a permanent store, Matcha Corner has recently taken its place inside of a new Chinese dessert place called 66 Dessert. Their soft opening happened in late June, and they’ve since been enjoying their brick-and-mortar storefront while still making those smooth matcha drinks we all love.
Matcha Corner’s matcha is all ceremonial grade and from Kyoto– each drink also has 5 grams of matcha. Their menu is considerably large with tons of combinations. There’s brown sugar, mango, vanilla bean, strawberry, blueberry, pistachio, earl grey, coconut water, and taro milk. They’ve also got ice cream matcha lattes!

Matcha Corner occupies the same space as 66 Dessert, sharing a counter. You can find them both on 1148 Kingsway in Vancouver.
