Dog Mountain

For a fun snowshoe trail with awesome views, check out Dog Mountain in Mount Seymour Provincial Park. The trail is considered an easy snowshoe trek and is 4.5 kilometers with an elevation gain of 34 meters. The trail is well-marked, mostly flat, but has a few up-and-downs along the way.
Lighthouse Park

The popular park in West Vancouver has easy trails that make it the perfect spot to go for a hike in winter. Plus, the views are absolutely spectacular. The trail will take you up to 6 kilometers with minimal elevation.
Pacific Spirit Park

The trails are easy and flat to take on during the winter months. The park is located near the University of British Columbia and offers lots of lush greenery and 10 kilometers of picturesque trails.
Upper Shannon Falls

Hike Shannon Falls during the winter for breathtaking scenery. It’s located in Squamish, just 45 minutes outside of Vancouver and literally right off of Highway 99. It’s a moderate hike at 7 kilometers and an elevation gain of 450 meters.
Elfin Lakes

Another great spot that will likely be covered in snow, so bring your snowshoes. The entire trek runs 22 kilometers with an elevation gain of 600 meters. It’s located near Squamish in Garibaldi Provincial Park.
