Where To Find Easter Chocolates In Richmond

Easter is officially around the corner and a handful of the top Richmond chocolatiers are celebrating with a range of special seasonal treats from large chocolate shelled eggs to special artisan chocolates.

The tradition of celebrating Easter with eggs dates back to Medieval Europe, where eggs symbolized the creation of new life. It wasn’t until the 17th century when chocolate eggs were given as presents.

Sinfully the Best Chocolates, situated at #13-3993 Chatham St. in Steveston, is raffling off a 22” chocolate. Raffle tickets are $1 each, and all proceeds will be donated to the Richmond Food Bank. Sinfully the Best also plans to match the total ticket sales. Last year they raised $2,000.

Wild Sweets, situated at 12191 Hammersmith Way, is currently featuring a seasonal collection of hand-painted chocolates, including a Spring 2016 Limited Edition Collection that uses the fresh flavours in citrus fruits. Their “Easter cocoArt Series,” includes custom designed chocolate egg sculptures, that are also available for pick-up at “The Atelier” Micro-Store. It is recommended to call 48 hours in advance to reserve your chocolates.

Royce’ Chocolate, situated inside CF Richmond Centre has you covered with some of the finest chocolate from Japan. They strive to serve a delicate combination of chocolate and fresh cream, with a hint of prestige liqueurs, including a variety of chocolates featuring the aroma of Hennessy V.S.O.P. and a chocolate with the hint of Champagne Pierre Mignon.

Lindt Chocolate Outlet, situated at the McArthurGlen Vancouver Designer Outlets is also offering special Easter treats, including the Easter Fun Friends pack, LINDOR Egg Cartons, Lindt Carrots and of course, their signature gold bunny.
