Calling all veggie lovers! There’s a new vegetarian restaurant in town. It’s called Pitchfork and it’s definitely notable.

The new Kits eatery is serving up an incredible selection of eats including a breakfast menu that is available daily until 3pm.

Start your day off right with these breakfast favourites: early bird omelette sandwich, stewed black beans with sweet potatoes or a house-made jerk seasoned wrap filled with a chickpea scramble.

For small bites, they have herbed squash and cauliflower fritters, Chinese-style green onion pancakes, winter salad and a daily soup on tap.

If you’re looking for something more substantial, order up one of their signature dishes:

Mean Green Brassica Bowl
Soba noodles, brussel sprouts, broccoli, black kale, cucumber, pickled ginger, braised tempeh, crumbled nori and almond miso sauce.

Green Thumb Bowl

Coconut red rice, edamame, snap peas, charred green onion, pickled carrots, pea shoots, cashews, creamy ginger and herb cashew sauce.

Rainbow Wrap
Fresh beets, pickled carrots and squash, cucumber, black kale, braised tempeh, almond miso sauce in a whole wheat tortilla.

Got a sweet tooth? They’re got you covered with two incredible dessert options. Try the decadent dark chocolate and coffee vegan cheesecake brownie or the rich spiced gingerbread cake with lime and coconut frosting.
