Powerless, a superhero-themed comedy set in the DC Universe, is in the works for NBC.
Vanessa Hudgens has signed on as the lead and will play claims adjuster Emily Locke.
The workplace comedy centers around average Joe’s who work at an insurance company and dream up their own super powers. They’re the unsung heroes cleaning up ravaged cities behind the scenes after super hero battles.
Filming of the Powerless pilot is expected to run for a week in March around Metro Vancouver.
