“Beginning today, the cool showery weather pattern that has been affecting BC for the last couple weeks will start to give way to a strong and persistent ridge of high pressure. By Sunday, temperatures away from the immediate coast will start to peak into the low thirties” said the weather agency in a special weather statement.
Vancouver will see temperatures hover around 22°C on Saturday and see it rise to 25°C on Sunday.

Areas such as Hope, Chilliwack and Abbotsford will see daily highs in the low 30s.
