Vancouver and Victoria are reportedly hours away from being announced as the host cities for the 2019 World Junior Championship.
Both cities submitted a joint bid to host the tournament earlier this summer and according to hockey insiders, the big was successful.

The announcement is scheduled to be made today at 1:00pm.
The last time Vancouver hosted the tournament was in 2006, when Jonathan Toews and Team Canada defeated Eveni Malkin and Team Russia 5-0 in the gold-medal final game.
