Vancouver-Victoria To Host World Junior Championship in 2019

Vancouver and Victoria are reportedly hours away from being announced as the host cities for the 2019 World Junior Championship.

Both cities submitted a joint bid to host the tournament earlier this summer and according to hockey insiders, the big was successful.

The announcement is scheduled to be made today at 1:00pm.

The last time Vancouver hosted the tournament was in 2006, when Jonathan Toews and Team Canada defeated Eveni Malkin and Team Russia 5-0 in the gold-medal final game.
