Vancouver Canucks Store Reveals New Heritage Classic Shirts

The logo for the NHL Heritage Classic 2014 which includes our very own Vancouver Canucks facing off against the Ottawa Senators has reveled itself via Twitter.

The logo is very similar to the one used in 2011 Heritage Classic in Calgary. In the center of the logo is a picture of two Vancouver icons: BC Place (the venue for the game) and of the Vancouver lookout, also known as the revolving restaurant.

Following the logo going public, the Vancouver Canucks Team Store tweeted a picture of new merchandise they just made available including Heritage Classic 2014 t-shirts, and lanyards. They also have some Canucks Millionaire’s swag along with Bure products which will be hot considering the organization just decided to officially retire the Russian Rockets number and place it in the rafters along with other all time greats such as Markus Naslund and Trevor Linden.

The NHL Heritage Classic 2014 is scheduled for Sunday March 2nd at B.C. Place. There’s no official word on what  jerseys either team will be wearing, however, we have heard the Sens will wear a lighter version of their black Heritage Jersey introduced from 2011 and the Canucks are working on introducing a completely new jersey. If they don’t however, our guess is they’ll pursue the Millionaire’s sweaters.
