The cab industry in Vancouver has been plagued by numerous horror stories, and you can add this one to the list.

A video shared on Twitter by Dave Rubin, host of the Rubin Report, captures a Vancouver cab driver lifting weights with his right hand, while driving with his left.

Is this cab driver driving without due care and attention? It’s clearly not the greatest idea and further fuels the demand for ridesharing in Vancouver.
Just last month, the BC government introduced legislation that would allow ride-hailing companies to enter the B.C. market next year, while putting priority on safety for passengers.
However, there are some who don’t want to wait until fall 2019 and are looking for a quicker solution.
The BC Liberals are proposing a separate piece of legislation that would bring ridesharing to B.C. by Valentine’s Day.
