The Vancouver Aquarium is now home to two very adorable royals.

A pair of rescued seal pups named “Meghan Mackerel” and “Prince Herring” are creating quite a buzz at the aquarium.

The aquarium says that “Meghan Mackerel” was found all by herself on Sidney Island on June 18th. Unfortunately, there was no sign of her mother. When rescued, the seal was underweight and still had a part of her umbilical cord attached. The soft fur that she currently has is a sign that she’s a premature pup.

As for “Prince Herring”, he’s also a premature seal pup and was found on June 20th near Crescent Beach. The male seal was still attached to his mother’s placenta, but she was nowhere to be found.
