The popular Japanese casual-wear retailer UNIQLO announced that it plans to open a shop in Richmond Centre this spring.
The news comes after the chain’s location in the Metropolis at Metrotown opened October 2017 with massive success. Indeed, the lineups were enormous at its grand opening. And, it continues to draw a great deal of business.
Located on the mall’s first floor, the Richmond store will be 8,010 square feet in size.

UNIQLO Expansion
“We opened our first store in the Greater Vancouver Area last fall and we received a great demand from customers for more stores,” said UNIQLO Canada’s chief operating officer, Yasuhiro Hayashi. “This newest expansion demonstrates our commitment to bring LifeWear to more Canadians on the West Coast.”
The mega-chain is also opening a store at Surrey’s Guildford Town Centre on March 9th.
With over 1,800 successful stores worldwide, the chain offers affordable and stylish clothing for men, women and children.
