Maintenance for the Running Rail Replacement Project has begun. As a result, Skytrain riders using the Expo Line after 9:30 p.m. should be prepared to add an extra 15 – 20 minutes of travel time to their commute this week.
As part of a previously announced maintenance schedule, Expo Line Trains will use one track in both directions at Main Street–Science World and Commercial-Broadway stations.
All Expo Line trains will operate between Waterfront and King George stations.

The delay will be in effect from Sunday June 18 to Thursday June 22, as well as Sunday June 25 to Tuesday June 27.
According to the maintenance schedule, delays will take place from 9:30 p.m. until the end of service.
Expo service to Sapperton, Braid, Lougheed Town Centre and Production Way-University will be replaced with trains operating between New Westminster and VCC-Clark. Passengers from other stations on the Expo Line can change trains to this service at Commercial – Broadway, New Westminster and Columbia stations.
The Millennium Line and Canada line will not be disrupted and operate normally.
Special events
It’s important to note that Translink will offer a modified alternate schedule for nights that included evening hockey, soccer, and football games which end between 3:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
Consequently, single-track implementation may be delayed by up to 2 hours to provide additional frequency.
