Mark your calendars for the two-day Tian Jin Festival returning to Burnaby this May.
The free event returns from Saturday, May 4 to Sunday, May 5 and offers an exciting array of Chinese cultures and traditions.
In addition to performances and activities, the Tian Jin Festival features drool worthy Taiwanese food. Among others, attendees will find Taiwanese popcorn chicken, rice sausage stuffed with pork sausage, chilled noodles with sesame sauce, as well as deep-fried buns with condensed milk.
If you’re vegetarian, keep an eye out for peanut mochi, red bean wheel cake, sticky rice, and rice cakes with peanut powder and tofu pudding.
