The much anticipated Slice network show, The Real Housewives of Vancouver is set to air this week, and there’s much abuzz about the five stars of the show, who live in our own backyard but claim that they are just regular people like you and I, despite their lavish and privileged lifestyle.
Housewife, Jody Claman, is a self-made businesswoman who wants everyone to know that it’s okay to be a single mom or get a divorce, because you don’t need to rely on anyone but yourself, which is exactly what she is doing with her successful clothing store.
Ronnie Seterdahl Negus, another star of the show claims that you need to work hard and earn your success which is exactly what she preaches to her kids, as her and her husband came from no money and built themselves up. She also preaches this to her children, and plans to donate the money that she will make from the show towards the B.C. Centre for Ability, as she has a nine-year-old daughter with special needs and feels passionately about the cause.
All in all, despite all the glam and buzz on tv, the five stars of the show are normal people who are no different than ourselves. Be sure to catch the premiere on Slice on Wednesday, April 4th at 9pm ET/PT!
