Things To Do At Belcarra Regional Park

Take A Hike

This is the place to be if you love hitting the trails and soaking up the great outdoors. The region boasts a lot of hiking trails with stunning views that will leave you in awe. The Diez Vista Trail is a popular 7 km one-way route.

It’s a relatively difficult hike but the views of the Indian Arm at the end make it all worth it. Admiralty Point Trail is another favourite and a simpler trail. The 5 km return route follows the coastline and then leads up to views of Mount Seymour, Mount Burnaby, Indian Arm, Cates Park and Deep Cove.

Discover Scenery By Horseback

What better way to see the sights than by riding horseback along the scenic trails? The Springboard Trail is a 3.5 km one-way trek that connects Bedwell Road and Sasamat Lake with the Belcarra Picnic area. This is a great trail for walking, hiking, or horseback riding.

Fish The Day Away

Another great activity to do in the park is fishing at Sasamat Lake. At the south end of the lake there is a floating bridge, which is the prime location to cast your line.
