Yesterday, Monday, September 2nd, was the last day of the PNE for this summer season, but there were some hiccups that came up for organizers.
Numerous people were turned away from attending concerts because they purchased fraudulent tickets. While tickets to the summer concerts are free, there are those who get tickets and then sell them for a profit.
The PNE blames third-party ticket re-sellers for ripping off eager fans who showed up every night in huge crowds to catch the outdoor concerts.
With this year’s fair officially in the books, let’s hope this problem is resolved in time for next year.
