The annual Vancouver Vaisakhi parade brought out tens of thousands of people to South Vancouver on Saturday, who soaked in Sikh culture and many celebratory festivities.
The parade was attended by many residents across metro Vancouver and a handful of politicians including Christy Clark, Harjit Sajjan, and Gregor Robertson.
A second Vaisakhi parade in Surrey next week is expected to draw over 200,000 people.
