The Tragically Hip Say Farewell To Vancouver (Photos + Video)

Iconic Canadian band The Tragically Hip have embarked on their final tour, with the opening shows in British Columbia.

The Man Machine Poem tour, named after the group’s 14th studio album, kicked off in Victoria on July 22nd and visited Rogers Arena on Sunday, July 24th. Tragically Hip will perform their final Vancouver concert on Tuesday, July 26.

The demand for concert tickets was much higher than the supply, which ultimately led to the Tragically Hip releasing extra tickets for their diehard fans.

Off to see The Tragically Hip tonight. Lots of amazing memories of seeing this band throughout my life including one show at Thunderbird stadium where I got a little overzealous in the mosh pit, broke my ankle and had to be carried out overhead to the waiting ambulance.
