2018 is among us and that means we have a full year of exploring new eateries around the city. There’s a plethora of restaurants already expected to open up shop this month.
New Restaurants Opening In Vancouver
Aleph Middle Eastern Eatery
A Middle-Eastern eatery is in the works for Vancouver and is expected to open any day now at 1889 Powell Street. They’re keeping the mystery alive with their menu for now but it will have lots of mezze-style dishes that integrate BC flavours with ones from the Middle East.
Blue Heron Creamery
Calling all cheese lovers—this is not for the lactose intolerant. They’re opening their very first storefront early this year at 2410 Main Street. Find a plethora of cheeses and eats at this spot.
Pasta and wine—what more could you ask for? The new eatery will be at 4811 Main Street. Expect lots of pasta dishes, as well as salumi, terrines and veggie-friendly eats.
Aces Pizza Shop
We can never have too many pizza places on Granville Street. This joint is set to open this month at 902 Granville Street.
Electric Bicycle Brewing
This brewery will serve up some tasty beers and gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. They’re on tap to open later this month at 20 East 4th Avenue.
Forget the Breakfast Club, this place is all about lunch (and coffee, and beer, and wine). It’s set to open soon at 3008 Arbutus Street.
Love all things hummus? This is the place for you. Located at 49 West Hastings Street, this spot is expected to open their doors later this month.
Vancouver loves their poke! So many shops have popped up around the city and another is set to join them. They have a Main Street location but will be opening a new shop at 2151 West 4th Avenue.
Meet in Yaletown
The popular vegetarian joint is taking over the city with the original Meet on Main and Meet in Gastown. The new Yaletown location is opening later this month and will serve up their classic comfort food veggie dishes. It’s located at 1165 Mainland Street.
Zaatar W Zeit
Check out this Lebanese-inspired urban eatery when they open later this month at 535 Granville Street.
