An all-new Starbucks Reserve Bar has opened its doors in Vancouver and it’s the largest store in the city. It’s also the biggest Reserve Bar in Canada.
The massive 4,000-square-foot space is conveniently located in Pacific Centre at 700 West Pender Street.

Its modern and sleek design is typical of their other Reserve locations, but it has some local touches including a piece of driftwood mounted to the wall that is from Vancouver Island. Also behind the bar is a stunning marble backdrop.
The new store has two separate parts, one acting as a normal Starbucks location and the other as the Reserve bar. It also features large windows overlooking the bustling streets of the downtown core and comfy seating.
Their menu has all the usual favourites, but they’ve added some rare small-lot Starbucks Reserve Bar coffees and innovative espresso-based drinks to the mix.
This is the fourth Reserve bar in Canada and second in Vancouver—because Vancouverites obviously can’t get enough caffeine in their lives.
When you sit at the bar it’s like watching a scientist in a laboratory. There’s a unique setup of machines to create your personalized brew.
The new location will have an ever-changing array of roasts but right now they’re starting off with a Christmas blend with woodsy aromas, sweet mandarin and mulled spices and an Aged Sumatra, a robust concoction with deep notes of cedar and sweet black licorice.
Other sure to be favourites include their Hazelnut Bianco Latte; which is espresso with steamed house-made hazelnut praline-infused milk and the Nitro Cascara Cloud; a nitro cold brew with cascara-infused foam and a sprinkle of cascara sugar.
For some savoury eats, try their small plates. They have a Chorizo Mac & Cheese ($7.95) and a Pear Bacon & Brie Flatbread ($6.95).
