New Speakeasy Style Nightclub Opening In Vancouver

Waldorf Hotel To Host Weekly East Side Block Parties All Summer

Good news for the baby boomer generation, or anyone else who enjoys rocking out to hits from the 60s and 70s.

A new speakeasy nightclub is set to open its doors this Friday, July 15th in East Vancouver.

‘The Hideaway’ is another Waldorf venue that is modelled after the speakeasy days. The targeted audience is for baby boomers—with a retro-themed playlist including the likes of: Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Motown, and the first wave of British Invasion rock.

They will also perform classic rock and soul tunes every weekend, as The Bond.

The secret club is tucked away in the back corner of the basement and is an awesome place for people to dance to music from their youth.

Forget DJs, there will be tons of music performed by live artists, such as Cameron Grant and Krystle Dos Santos.

The fully renovated room will take you back in time with low slung leather couches and a beaded VIP area.

Check out the VIP launch party being held this weekend on Saturday, July 16th from 9pm until late.
