If you could have any kind of storefront just a walk away from your apartment, what would it be?

Well, with the expansion of these two restaurants into Coquitlam, some folks won’t have to wonder any longer. A good coffee and a good dinner are two of the best things to live nearby.

NEW DEVELOPMENTS

At Coquitlam’s heart is a multipurpose development that is called TriCity Central. Built by Marcon Developments and QuadReal Property Group, Vancouver New Condos states that this venture is meant to “reinvigorate Coquitlam’s downtown centre.”

Altogether, the development boasts an impressive “six condominium highrises, two rental apartment towers, a 27-storey office building, and a hotel with 150 rooms and a conference centre.” It is also located right across from Coquitlam Centre, so everyone part of TriCity Central has quick and easy access to everything they would ever need.

Nestled in here is the TriCity Pavilion at 2968 Christmas Way, which will be the new home of these two restaurants.

FEATURED RESTAURANTS

Joining the development are the much-loved Nemesis Coffee and delicious Italian restaurant Gigi’s by Ask For Luigi, a concept branch from Vancouver’s Kitchen Table Group.

Nemesis in particular is opening their fifth storefront with a 2,300 square-foot location at TriCity Pavilion. Here, you can get all the usual caffeine pick-me-ups. Nemesis is well-known for their exquisite coffee and their cozy, comfortable atmosphere

You can also get a bite to eat there. Whether you’re craving baked goods from their brand Dope Bakehouse, or if you’d rather have brunch, Nemesis has got you covered. You’ll be equipped to deal with the rest of the day after you’ve filled your stomach and are powered up with their coffee.

Gigi’s by Ask For Luigi is part of Vancouver’s Kitchen Table Group and its “Luigi” line of Italian restaurants. Guests can similarly expect this restaurant to be like its predecessor Ask For Luigi with their high-quality Italian eats.

The space will be warm and welcoming with a selection of fresh pasta, pizza, as well as wine and cocktails for you to choose from.

After months of waiting, Nemesis and Gigi’s by Ask For Luigi have finally opened this summer! June 14 marks Nemesis’ soft opening, and Gigi’s by Ask for Luigi opened on June 24.
