They say we eat with our eyes first and this sushi joint in Vancouver is taking that to a whole new level.
If you frequent the popular Japanese Minami Restaurant in Yaletown, you know they make some amazing aburi-pressed sushi, whip up incredible cocktails and serve out of this world desserts.
But they’re also killing it with their presentation game.

For starters, they have pink sushi rolls. This popular Garden Roll is made up of with beet-infused rice, avocado, asparagus and tofu hummus. It’s (almost) too pretty to eat.

Their cocktails alone are enough of a reason to check out this hot spot. One of their newest creations is this beauty, called the Sparkle in your Rye. It’s made up of rye (obviously), a splash of sparkling wine, vanilla earl grey, a hint of lemon, basil and finally—it’s topped up with edible golden flakes (because, why not?!)

Their desserts also leave a lasting impression on diners. Just like this beautiful lychee elderflower panna cotta that tastes just as good as it looks.
