At the Richmond Sunflower Festival, you’ll find 90 different varieties of sunflowers, dahlias, gladiolas and wildflowers across an impressive 20 acres of land.
Guests can wander amongst the sunflowers, take pictures with the flower wagon and enjoy some sips and bites from food truck vendors in the area.

Magic of Sunflowers at Taves Family Farms

Stroll magical sunflower fields at Taves Family Farms, where you can find beautiful photo-ops, golden blossoms, and resident gnomes Merlin and Marisol. It’s a fantastic spot for families that also comes with a 150-ft. Mystical Slide, cuddly farm animals, pedal karts, and a jumping pillow that adults can have fun on, too.
There will also be special events happening from August 21 – 23, where you can check out a butterfly-releasing event all four evenings at dusk, as well as the farm’s first-ever Sip ‘n Stroll on August 21.
