Richmond’s Sunflower Festival is a popular annual celebration of one of nature’s most vibrant flower.
Located in the picturesque city of Richmond, the event offers a mesmerizing experience as visitors meander through over 20 acres of sunflowers in full bloom.

Richmond Sunflower Festival 2026
The festival boasts a diverse array of sunflower varieties, making it a paradise for nature enthusiasts and photographers alike. Visitors can expect to see 20 acres of sunflowers, dahlias, gladiolas and wildflowers across an impressive open field.
This year, the fields will be open on August 2 and run daily from 12:00pm to 7:00pm (last entry by 7:00 pm) on weekdays, and from 10:00am to 7:00pm on weekends. The last wagon to the parking lot departs before dusk.

In addition to the sunflower spectacle, the Sunflower Festival offers a range of engaging activities and attractions for visitors of all ages. This includes:
- Wagon rides to the flower fields
- Beautiful photo-ops
- Over 90 flower varieties to view on 20 acres
- Evening yoga
It’s good to also note that well-behaved pets are allowed on leash. Drones however cannot be used on or over the property.
The event is set to take place until around the end of the month. Dates may be extended depending on the blooming conditions.

The Richmond Sunflower Festival is located right next to the Richmond Country Farms Market, where visitors can enjoy delicious local produce. Additionally, the beautiful Country Vines Winery is nearby, offering handcrafted local wines.

- General Admission ages 13+: $17 + GST
- Children 2 & under: FREE
Weekday admission:
- General admission, ages 13+: $14 + GST
- Children ages 3–12 and seniors: $12 + GST
- Children 2 and under: free
