A new luxury ferry will link downtown Vancouver to downtown Victoria.
The 254-seat vessel is slated for a May 2017 launch date, just in time for the start of Vancouver’s cruise season.
The V2V Empress will take you from the heart of downtown Vancouver across the Strait of Georgia to Victoria’s Inner Harbour.
There will be daily sailings, making it an easy and luxurious way to travel back and forth to the Island. It’s a 3-hour journey with spectacular views of Vancouver’s skyline, Galiano Island, Salt Spring Island, Saanich Peninsula and much more.
One-way tickets range from $120 to $240. The more expensive seats come with better views and a three-course meal.
The passenger ferry will depart from Vancouver’s Canada Place on the west side of the Vancouver Convention Centre.
It will arrive at Victoria’s Belleville Street at the Boulevard foyer of The Steamship Terminal Building.
