Vancouver’s sweetest show of support returns this month.
Lee’s Donuts is taking part in the annual Milk & Cookies for Canuck Place Children’s Hospice campaign with a special two-day activation on February 28 and March 1, 2026.
During those two days, all Lee’s Donuts locations will offer a limited-edition Milk & Cookies Donut. Even better, the beloved local brand will donate $2,500 to Canuck Place through the campaign.
Here’s what you need to know.
A colourful donut with a meaningful purpose
To mark the occasion, Lee’s has created a playful Milk & Cookies Donut.
The feature includes a cookie monster base topped with vibrant green drizzle. It will be available all operating hours on both campaign days, while quantities last.
However, this isn’t just about a limited-time treat.
The campaign helps raise funds and awareness for children and families receiving pediatric palliative care across British Columbia and the Yukon.
In other words, every donut sold helps spark important conversations about community care and compassion.
A $2,500 donation to support families across B.C.
As part of this year’s initiative, Lee’s Donuts has committed to donating $2,500 to Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.
Funds raised support Canuck Place in providing pediatric palliative care and compassionate services for children with serious illnesses and the families who love them.
Milk & Cookies for Canuck Place brings together businesses across the province each year. Together, they help ensure families can access specialized support when they need it most.
Because of that, even a small purchase can have meaningful impact.
Community has always been part of Lee’s recipe
Lee’s Donuts first opened at Granville Island Public Market in 1979. Since then, the brand has grown into a local institution.
Yet through every expansion, the focus has remained the same: community.
“Community has always been at the heart of what we do,” said Celine Bacani, owner of Lee’s Donuts. “We’re honoured to stand alongside Canuck Place for this meaningful initiative. If enjoying a donut can help bring comfort and support to families across B.C., that’s something we’re incredibly proud to be part of.”
That sentiment reflects a larger truth.
Vancouver businesses often rally behind local causes. In this case, a simple treat becomes a vehicle for care and connection.
How you can take part
Supporting the campaign is simple. Visit any Lee’s Donuts location on February 28 or March 1. Then, pick up a Milk & Cookies Donut while supplies last.
Not only will you enjoy something sweet, but you’ll also contribute to a province-wide effort rooted in compassion.
Sometimes, the smallest gestures carry the most weight. And in this case, it starts with a donut.
