The residents are fortunate enough to wake up in a new destination every few days as their glamorous residence makes its global journey. They live in pristine luxury, with cuisine ranging from Mediterranean to Asian, but always of the highest caliber.
Portraits, one of their haute cuisine eateries on board, is hailed as one of the finest restaurants absolutely anywhere, be it land or sea.
One thing all the residents on board have in common: a thirst for knowledge. Their onboard enrichment program ensures that the residents have more than just a brief encounter with the places that they visit. The program immerses them in the lifestyle, culture and history of each destination.
Along with a world-class spa, a Quantum Nightclub, a fully equipped fitness centre, and the chance to savour truffles and champagne under the stars, life on board The World doesn’t seem like the worst predicament.
The World will spend the summer in Canada and Alaska before heading down to Mexico in the fall.
