Langley Was Named The Coziest City In British Columbia

Travel & Outdoors

Expedia released a list of the 55 coziest cities in Canada for 2018 and Langley came in first for B.C. (third overall).

It’s easy to see why Langley came in near the top—with its small town charm, vast berry fields and abundant farm life.

The quaint town is a great place if you need a break from the bustling city life of Vancouver.

Another claim to fame is the popular Twilight Drive-In. The old-school theatre is a throwback to the good old days and has made Langley a more popular spot to hit up on a night out with friends.

With plenty to eat and drink, this is the perfect place to go on a self-guided Circle Farm Tour to sample local cheeses and fruit wines in the region.

Langley is also home to the only Olive Garden in B.C., which is kind of a big deal. After all, when you eat there, you’re automatically family—so the restaurant fits right in with the vibe in Langley.

As for other B.C. cities that cracked the top 20—there was West Kelowna, Sidney, Campbell River, North Vancouver, Burnaby and Whistler. Chilliwack came in 21st place, while Richmond nabbed the 27th spot.

For more things to do in Langley, visit this Alpaca Farm or cozy up at a romantic Italian restaurant with their very own cheesebar.

This list was created in 2018, but 2019’s results should come in soon. We won’t be surprised if Langley makes the list a second time around.
