For all the cheese lovers out there—you’re in luck. A new eatery has popped up in Langley’s Walnut Grove area and it features a cheesebar. This is not a drill.
The Italian Osteria and Cheesebar is part of the Joseph Richard Group (JRG) and just opened their doors this week.
It’s the first Italian-cuisine eatery for JRG, with their other establishments including 14 public houses and three S&L Kitchen & Bar restaurants.
Hit up this new hot spot for all things Italian. The 180-seat restaurant features creamy risotto, handmade ravioli, creative pizzas, and an impressive dessert menu.

The most exciting part is an epic cheesebar where you can sample a wide variety of Italian cheeses, as well as a community wine table to try select premium wines by the glass.

“In Italy, sharing food and drink and bonding with extended family is a centuries-old tradition, and that idea of bringing family and friends together to share great dishes is what we’re all about at our establishments too,” says JRG CEO and co-founder Ryan Moreno.
The Italian eatery is taking over the spot that originaly housed JRG’s Oak & Thorne Public House, which has now moved across the street.
