Sweet news for macaron enthusiasts—the legendary Laduree will be opening its first Canadian location this Thursday, March 24th.
Originating in France, the companies heavenly macarons are everything they should be: flaky, decadent, delicious and come in an array of colours and flavours from sweet to savoury.
They have several locations in major cities across the globe, including New York, Sidney, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
Laduree will be the perfect addition to Robson Street and create another outlet for the growing local macaron scene.
A number of macaron-selling shops exist in the city already, including Bel Cafe, Thomas Haas, Faubourg, French Made Baking, Soirette and Thierry.
In honour of it being their first location in Canada, they will be offering a special edition macaron inspired by maple syrup—yum!
Laduree will also sell a number of home fragrance items, candles, teas and jams—making it a one stop shop for gift giving and indulging in all things sweet.
The new location is at 1141 Robson Street and will feature a 16-seat tea salon, gold countertops, wooden tables and lots of pastel hues.
