Ainsworth Hot Springs

Escape to one of BC’s most magical hidden gems, Ainsworth Hot Springs.

The quaint village of Ainsworth is almost entirely made up of hot springs and is the perfect place to go to unwind.

Nestled on Kootenay Lake, this little spot only has a population of about 20 people.

While here, you can take a dip in a variety of hot spring pools, including these epic hot spring caves. Shaped like horseshoes, you can wander in the dark cave while letting the hot springs do their work.

The minerals found in hot springs are known for their healing properties and are believed to help boost blood circulation, reduce stress, relieve pain and promote sleep. Plus, they’re just super relaxing and will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Ainsworth is an 8-hour drive away from Vancouver but if you’re making a road trip across British Columbia, it’s totally worth a stop here.
