Calling all milkshake lovers! A new dessert café is coming to Metro Vancouver and they’re bringing their famously huge milkshakes with them.

Coming April 15th is the debut opening of Metro Vancouver’s first Holy Shakes location, a dessert and eatery shop that specializes in serving creatively sweet and massive milkshakes. Holy Shakes first got their start in Toronto through pop-ups and eventually got their initial storefront in 2019. They have a number of locations in Ontario, as well as one in Alberta, but this will be their very first one on the West Coast.

Holy Shakes’ Legendary Milkshakes

Holy Shakes is famous for their unique milkshake flavours such as Mango Berry Cheesecake, Red Velvet, and the delicious Oreo Cookie & Cream for those of you who can’t get enough cookies in your life. All shakes come decorated with various toppings, all sitting way above the rim of the glass.

They also serve what they call Super Freakshakes. These milkshakes are huge, topped with slices of cake, tufts of cotton candy, or chocolates, depending on what flavour you select. Notably, some of the cheesecake flavours are in collaboration with The Cheesecake Factory. If you’re a fan, then you’ll definitely want to try those ones out.

A Bite To Go With The Shake

Being an eatery also means that Holy Shakes has a selection of mouthwatering food. Serving up fusion cuisine, visitors can try their butter chicken baos and naan tacos. They have burgers, wraps, and bowls to choose from, being all very unique and on-brand, too.

The new location will be opening in Delta on 8239 120 St. But Holy Shakes isn’t stopping there: they have plans to open locations in Surrey and downtown Vancouver. For those who just can’t wait to get their milkshake fix, head to Delta on April 15th to try out their amazing shake concoctions.
