Police are asking the driver who was involved in a Vancouver hit-and-run early Monday morning to come forward.
Just after midnight, the two pedestrians were crossing Fraser Street near East 20th Avenue when they were struck by a northbound vehicle on Fraser Street.
Unfortunately, the driver fled the scene.

The incident sent a 25-year-old woman from Surrey, and a 35-year-old man from Vancouver to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the woman has since been released from hospital, but the man remains in serious condition.
Investigators have collected evidence from the scene that suggests that the outstanding vehicle is a grey or silver, 2014 or 2015 Kia Optima Hybrid Electric car. Furthermore, it’ll most likely have front-end damage, including a possible cracked headlight lens on the passenger side.
Below is a stock photo of the car police are looking for:

“Based on the evidence collected so far, we believe the driver should be aware that they hit the pedestrians,” says Sergeant Jason Robillard, VPD.
“We are appealing to the driver to do the right thing and come forward”.
Anyone, including body shop employees, who may have information about this Vancouver hit-and-run collison, or who knows the location of the vehicle, is asked to contact police at 604-717-3012 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
