If you’ve ever wanted to taste the difference a josper oven provides, now is a good time. The premiere restaurant in Burnaby is offering a three course dinner menu for $45. Select between 3 appetizers (caesar salad, smoked tomato bisque or beef carpaccio), 3 main courses (7oz Angus Beef striploin steak (Upgrade to 14oz, $12), josper grilled salmon steak or josper grilled celeriac ‘steak’), and 3 desserts (vanilla cheesecake, Vietnamese coffee parfait, or the popular Baked Alaska).

Afghan Horsemen

Get your fill of Afghan/Middle Eastern cuisine at this highly popular spot on Granville Island. They have a $25 set dinner menu that includes an appy option of hearty lamb, hummus or dumplings. Then select your entree from either lamb korma, chicken kebab or a shola plate.

Top it off with dessert—a milk pudding with cardamom spice and ground pistachios. Considering the quantity and quality of the food served, this is a wicked deal.

Brewhall

If you’re looking for a more laid-back eatery for some pub grub—look no further. Plus, might we add this option is only $15. Pick a burger, they have tons—including a BBQ smokehouse, Korean fried chicken, crunchy portobello and more. Then get a side of crinkle cut fries, curly fries, extra dirty fries or a green goddess salad.

Finally you end the meal with something sweet and that’s your choice of flavour in mini donuts—go classic with cinnamon sugar or mix it up a bit with pumpkin spice.

For an entree, choose between chicken & waffles, BBQ braised pork cheeks or a seafood gumbo. Save room for dessert because you can choose from a maple walnut cheesecake, apple date sticky pudding or pecan sponge cake.

Edible Canada
