“At 6:45 a.m., the officers observed a Dodge Challenger in the oncoming lane, passing another vehicle, and estimated the speed to be 115 km/hr” reads the post.

The Delta Police Department said they received a complaint about vehicles speeding every morning in the 10000 block of Hornby Drive.

Police proceeded to “set up laser speed detection in the area”, which caught the car going well over the posted speed limit.

The car has been impounded for 7 days, and the driver was charged with excessive speeding and illegal passing on a laned roadway.
