Cypress Mountain Is Now Officially Open For The Winter Season

Get out your snowboards, because Cypress Mountain is officially open.

The popular winter destination announced that it opened on Friday, November 29th. The Downhill area will be open from 9 am-4 pm, for its regular early season hours.

“It’s a perfect opportunity to head up to collect your season pass, grab some new goggles, gloves or helmet and make a few turns,” states the website.

Snow at mid-mountain is currently at a 20 cm for the base, with temperatures between -1 to 2 degrees.

Cypress Mountain has yet to announce when their cross-country ski-trail will open, so keep checking in to find dates.

There will also be a new evening snowshoe experience coming up, Lights to the Lodge.

Whistler’s Blackcomb Mountain has already announced its opening date. While Grouse Mountain is celebrating The Peak of Christmas.
