While unusual, a recent robbery in Delta created a huge financial loss.

On Saturday, January 20th thieves stole a trailer that was holding more than 2,500 cases of Coors Light beer. The beer was stolen in Delta on property located on the 600-block of Aldford Avenue; the culprits are still at large.

“Surveillance footage shows a red semi-truck enter the lot, and hook up to the trailer containing the beer at approximately 11:45 January 20,” says Delta Police spokesperson,Cris Leykauf. “Based on the company’s GPS tracking systems, we know the trailer was then driven to the 8000 block of Blundell Road in Richmond, approximately half an hour later.”
