Cineplex is bringing back Community Day 2025, and it’s basically a free-for-all for movie lovers. On Saturday, November 15, you can score free movies, cheap snacks, and even free gaming, but only for a few short hours.
Free Movies, But You’ve Gotta Be Quick
From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. local time, Cineplex is handing out free movie tickets at participating theatres. You can’t grab them online or through the app — you’ve got to show up in person. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
This year’s lineup of family-friendly favourites includes Minions: The Rise of Gru, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, Sing 2, and The Wild Robot. Check your local theatre’s showtimes before heading out so you don’t miss out.
$3 Snacks, Games & Good Vibes
All Cineplex locations will be offering regular popcorn, drinks, and select candy for $3 + tax until 11 a.m. Meanwhile, The Rec Room and Playdium are going big with free gaming from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., plus $3 fries and mini donuts until noon.
Even XSCAPE arcades are joining in, offering 30-minute playcards so you can sneak in some games before the credits roll.
It’s All For A Good Cause
The best part? Every $1 from food, drink, and game purchases will be donated to BGC Canada (Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada) to help support youth programs across the country.
So yeah — free movies, cheap snacks, and supporting a great cause? Sounds like the perfect Saturday morning to us.
