100 Mounties posed shoulder-to-shoulder on North Vancouver’s Capilano Suspension Bridge to celebrate the nation ahead of Canada’s 150th birthday.
Dressed in their iconic red serge, the officers lined up along the Suspension Bridge while hanging a large Canadian flag off the side.

“This was a once-in-a-lifetime and once-in-a-career opportunity to be part of an historic photo occasion, said Supt. Chris Kennedy, Officer in Charge of the North Vancouver RCMP Detachment”.
“It was a proud moment for all those of us who stood together on the bridge, showing support for the country we serve and protect”.
All the officers who took part volunteered on their own time and came from detachments located across the Lower Mainland.
Canada Day this year is set to be a big one in metro Vancouver, with numerous celebrations planning to take place across the region.
