Private Island on the Sunshine Coast
Retreat into nature at this glamping-style bohemian boudoir on Nelson Island. It’s $438 per night and can accommodate up to six guests. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The price includes meals and boat transportation from the Government Dock in Egmont. Accommodations include a private tent cabin with a queen bed, a private yurt room with a king bed and another private yurt room with a queen bed. There’s also a large wrap-around patio, hammocks, a private beach, and kayaks available for rent.
A rustic cabin right on the water, the private island is just 4-kms from downtown Squamish. It’s $159 per night and can accommodate two guests. There is one bedroom with a queen bed, one bathroom and a common space with a sofa bed. It’s close to many attractions, including Shannon Falls and the Sea to Sky Gondola. There’s a private beach for canoeing or paddle boarding. It’s also only 40 minutes away from Whistler.

Have a private island to yourself in Georgia Strait, just off Gabriola Island. It’s a natural habitat full of wildlife, including eagles, deer and sea otters. It costs $60 per night/person and can accommodate up to 10 people. Breakwater is off the southeastern shore of Gabriola, in between Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland. The one-mile-long island is 74-acres filled of forestry and sandstone beaches. With only two houses on the island, and only one can be rented out at a time—giving you complete seclusion.
