B.C. Spring Weather
According to the Old Farmer’s Almanac, most of Canada will be fairly wet this spring. In fact, B.C. can expect a wetter-than-usual season, as well as some cooler-than-normal temperatures. While the west coast’s winter has been rather mild so far, it might be time to start thinking about getting a good pair of boots for the damp weather.
Southern B.C. will specifically have slightly cooler-than-normal temperatures in April. May will bring about slightly above-normal temperatures, on the other hand. “Precipitation will be well above normal for the region with ongoing rainy periods,” notes the Old Farmer’s Almanac.

In all, B.C. will be facing a fluctuating spring with less-than-ideal temperatures and tons of rain. While it’s not unexpected, it may not have been what you were hoping for when checking the forecast. At least this isn’t eastern Canada with its growing number of wind chill and snow alerts. And there’s always cherry blossom season to look forward to!

Either way, it’s best to prepare for a wet spring!
