Another Taiwanese dessert hot spot is set to open in Metro Vancouver and we can’t wait. Mark your calendar for June 24 as BlackBall is opening its first Vancouver-area location in Richmond.
The popular chain has over 100 locations across the globe, including in Taiwan, China, Australia, the US and Canada. They just opened their Toronto location and now Richmond is next.

They’re all about waffles and crushed ice with several handmade toppings, along with their exclusive brown sugar syrup.
Their BlackBall grass jelly is a hit, with its silky smooth texture and big flavour. Of course, they also have a large selection of local Taiwanese teas. Try their caramel milk tea, taro milk tea or purple rice milk.
