The Guildford Town Centre in Surrey has been redeveloping exponentially with a recent swimming pool addition to the rec centre and expansion to the shopping mall (now boasting over 200 retail stores). There are tons of eatery options in and around the community including a handful of Korean restaurants – all walking distance to the movie theatre, mall and rec centre. Soju bombs for everyone!

Boom Beer is a classic mom & pop Korean bar which features fried chicken and beer. This social joint is open evenings and offers a simple menu which includes original fried chicken, Korean marinated fried chicken and the popular spicy dish cheese buldak. Granville Island Lager is on tap and goes great with the crispy fried chicken.

Big Chicken Town is another frequented Korean chicken place in Guildford which has a flavour of boneless chicken for everyone. With 10 to choose from like sweet spicy, honey garlic and volcano it doesn’t hurt to get a bunch of half-orders to try the different flavours. Also makes for great takeout.
