Primetime network shows and big Hollywood blockbusters aren’t the only things being filmed in Vancouver.
Last year the remake to the 1987 comedy-classic Adventures in Babysitting was shot in Vancouver for the Disney Channel. The remake with the same title is expected to premiere sometime this summer, nearly 30 years after the original. Who can forget Elisabeth Shue and the adventures that followed?
Adventures in Babysitting (1987) – Trailer
The new Adventures in Babysitting stars Sabrina Carpenter from Girl Meets World and Sofia Carson from Descendants. They play rival teen babysitters who are forced to team up and find a missing kid in the big city.

They Disney Channel original movie was filmed in Vancouver last March and April and the first trailers aired on Disney in February 2016. Previous plans for the remake were set for a 2012 release starring Raven-Symone who withdrew from the project. Miley Cyrus then dispelled rumours that she was taking over the project.
