There are a number of beautiful places to take a dip in BC; however, Wally Creek offers one of the most magical swimming experiences in the province.
For one thing, it’s nestled in the beautiful woods that line the journey to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. Specifically, it is roughly 75 kms out of Tofino on Highway 4, and the creek’s water is often referred to as “kool aid” water.
Indeed, the flowing creek water glistens with a clear, aquamarine hue that is spellbinding to behold.
What’s more, there are many places where the creek becomes quite deep. As a result, it affords some ideal swimming conditions for a summer dip.

There’s even an adorable chain link fence for lovebirds to leave locks that’s appropriately known as the Love Lock Fence. Here, a litany of locks, of all colours, shapes, and sizes, adorn the fence that overlooks the rocky shores of the creek.
Many of the locks are adorned with the initials of lovers, while others are marked with the date of visitation; others simply stand bare.

In addition, there many magical places to discover on Vancouver Island. A couple include: a rope swing at the end of a hike on Vancouver Island and a triple tumbling waterfall.
