Starbucks has a new drink on tap and you can only get your hands on it if you’re in the Great White North. Canadians are first in line to sip on the tasty Teavana Tea Latte.
The tea lattes officially launched at participating Starbucks Canada locations on February 27th.
The powdered leaves are blended with steamed whole milk and then sweetened with cane sugar. They’re packed with flavour and are more smooth and luxurious than traditional tea bag brewed lattes.

Teavana Tea Lattes are available in the following flavours:
- Black Tea: Sourced from India, Kenya, & Sri Lanka; the flavour is bold and rich.
- Matcha Tea: Sourced from Japan, China, and Korea; this new blend features subtle floral notes and a rich vegetal taste, with a sweet lingering finish.
- Rooibos Tea: Sourced from South Africa, this naturally caffeine-free herbal tea features a vanilla, honey-like aroma, with hints of caramel and malt for a slight sweetness. It pairs particularly well with the new Blossoming Rose option.

The Blossoming Rose Tea Latte will put a spring in your step with this blend inspired by Japanese sakura tea. The sweet tea has a rose syrup with rhubarb bitters and just a hint of strawberry jam. It’s topped off with a sprinkling of naturally-flavoured rose and hibiscus crystals.
Plus, it’s one of the prettiest drinks they’ve ever served. Photos of this drink will likely start flooding your Instagram feeds.
Be among the first to try the new beverage at participating Starbucks locations across Canada.
